 His notion of keeping sacred the dignity of domestic life is to issue peremptory orders that the grandfather is to get up at five in the morning and do dumb-bell exercises, or the grand mother to march twenty miles to a camp to procure a Swastika flag. In other words, he appears to interfere with family life more even than the Bolshevists do; and to do it in the name of the sacredness of the family. It is not much more encouraging than the other two social manifestations; but at least it is more entertaining.

Nada mais distante pode existir do Nacional-Socialismo e do Fascismo - Estatismo Nacionalista. O Estado Gigantesco, a ditadura da Secretaria, a Economia constrangida pelos ditames de uns reguladores sem escrúpulos. O freio total da liberdade produtiva - um novo pombalismo. A Sociedade relegada para os planos de produção quinquenal de um Ministério da Propaganda. Mega-cidades e um tipo genético estipulado de cidadão de confiança - o desprezo da realidade histórica e a destruição da diversidade, em nome de uma ideia de história nacionalista criada pelos ideólogos do regime. Uniformismo e Homogeneidade.

O Distributismo é um exercício de memória, de uma época em que o Leviatã era ainda um perigo distante. O Nacionalismo Económico é o filho predilecto da Revolução Francesa - o aborto demoníaco de uma época de decadência.
